Machine Operator/Set Up Technician $27
Full-time, temp-to-hire position working for a manufacturing company in the Des Moines Metro area. Candidates must be able to set up, operate and perform limited mechanical work on the lamination equipment, understand the equipment’s purpose, be able to problem solve, and understand how the equipment operates.
Essential Duties
- Disassemble, set up, adjust, and operate lamination equipment using diagrams, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly operator PMs on the lamination equipment.
- Perform inspections and preventative maintenance duties on the lamination equipment.
- Respond to requests to address and diagnose operational, quality, and/or minor mechanical problems when equipment is not operating properly.
- Collaborate with management and other colleagues in decisions concerning operating problems regarding equipment.
