Assembly Technicians

Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 with weekends and overtime as assigned

Pay: $15 with opportunities to advance 

The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. As a Production Team Member, individuals will work closely with the Production Manager & team lead.

Light production, cutting, terminating, testing, & packaging copper & fiber optic-based cable assemblies.

• Read instructions, such as work orders & drawings.
• Operate manual & automated equipment to pull the cable to length & cut.
• Use hand tools to prepare cables for connection.
• Use rulers & other measuring equipment to ensure proper preparation of cable.
• Assemble small parts in a specified order.
• Operate small, automated assembly equipment following proper process & safety procedures.
• Test product performance with testing equipment.
• Visually inspect products for accuracy and quality.
• Package & label products.

• Recent verifiable production work history in a manufacturing environment required
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, walk, and climb stairs
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a repetitive basis
• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch – will be tested in the interview.
• Must have ability to read and write in English – will be required to follow written instructions and diagrams / technical prints in English
• Must have basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word
