Iowa Staffing requires an in-person interview with each candidate before they will be considered for available positions. You will need to fill out a paper application and meet with a recruiter to review your skills, work history, back ground, education, transportation and availability as well as other criteria. We will then try to match you with a job for which you are qualified, based on our clients' criteria.
Iowa Staffing accepts applications Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This is on a first-come, first-serve basis, you do not need an appointment.
A resume is not required for most positions, however if you have a current resume, please bring a copy with you. This can help us when we present you to our clients. You will still be required to fill out your work history on our application.
Some positions will require aptitude testing, such as basic reading skills, ability to read a tape measure, matching / accuracy testing as well as basic math skills. We may ask you to complete testing when you apply, or schedule testing for a later date if applicable.
To decrease waiting time, feel free to download and fill out our application before you come to our office. Please bring the completed application with you when you interview or email it to a recruiter and call you for a phone interview. All sections must be completed.
