1st shift concrete laborer $17.75
Job Description
Currently looking for Laborers to fill concrete laborer positions. Willing to train with previous construction experience.
Responsibilities
• Operate hand and powered equipment.
• Assist in setting and assembling concrete forms.
• Assist in pouring of vertical and flat concrete construction.
• Assist in tying rebar.
• Perform all other duties as needed.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in concrete finish, form making, pipe making, carpentry, construction, framing, or home remodeling preferred
• Own reliable transportation to Des Moines and eastern suburbs – not near a bus line
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds on a frequent basis
• Pass pre-employment E-Verify, drug screen, and background check
• Ability to pass a tape measure test (must be able to read to 1/16 inch)
• Must have steel toe boots
• Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching and climbing.
