Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is the primary leader of the production employees and indirect labor employees who are assigned to their department.  The supervisor ensures that products are produced safely, on time and per the specifications and drawings.  The supervisor ensures that forms are clean and usable and that departments are organized so that tools and supplies are readily available to the production team.  Housekeeping is of paramount importance in managing safety issues.

Monday - Friday with OT on Saturdays 

Start time is 5 am or 6 am - Finish

• Leadership and supervision of all assigned production staff, including scheduling hours to accommodate the production schedule.  
• Ensures that selected staff are crane certified. 
• Ensures that selected staff are forklift licensed.
• Provides employees with proper tools, forms, shop drawings, and raw materials to produce finished goods.
• Maintains housekeeping to prevent injuries.
• Works closely with Foremen and communicates the daily schedule.

• Minimum 1 year of QC or manufacturing equivalent.
• Must have some knowledge of concrete, preferably precast knowledge
• Forklift license.
• Crane certification.
• OSHA 10 Hour.
• First Aid certification.
• Ability to self-direct and react to change.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Diligence and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read reinforcing schedules and shop drawings.
• Must be able to batch concrete.
