Recycling Sorter
Schedule
Monday-Friday: 7 am- 4 pm (occasional Saturdays)
Position Details
- Ability to stand up to 2 ½ hours at a time, with good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to climb steps and stairs.
- The job consists of sorting residential recyclable materials from moving conveyor belts. Sorting is done on elevated platforms above floor level.
- Safety (PPE) equipment is required at all times.
- Ability to pick a minimum of 35+ items per minute consistently.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance
- Other duties may be assigned, and management retains the discretion to add, delete, or change the duties at any time

- Routinely performs repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting
Work Environment
- Hard Hat, safety eyewear, high-visibility vest, gloves, and sleeves. All safety equipment is provided, except safety boots.
- Non-climate-controlled environment. Hot in summer, cold in winter.
- Non-sterile environment. Dust, odor, and noise.
