Senior Human Resources Manager

Compensation

The salary for this position is $110,000 - $115,000 a year based on experience/interview.  

Full benefit package offered including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, PTO, and Holiday pay.         

Schedule

1st: Monday - Friday may include occasional nights or weekends   

Position Details

The responsibilities for this position include managing and supervising the Human Resources department, handling employee relations, employee retention, performance management, workers’ compensation, budgeting, and ensuring compliance, among other tasks. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, 3 of which are in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Proven knowledge of employment law, benefits management, budgeting, compliance, and all aspects of HR practices, including team development and leadership performance support.
  • Partner with the Safety Manager to promote a safe environment and ensure compliance with OSHA and safety reporting requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Professional demeanor and phone etiquette.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to West Des Moines, Iowa.
