INDUSTRIAL Maintenance Technician

Iowa Staffing is seeking qualified candidates for an INDUSTRIAL Maintenance Technician position. 

The Maintenance Technician must be able to set up, operate, and perform mechanical repairs on all production equipment and understand the purpose of each piece of equipment. This individual must be able to problem-solve and understand how the equipment operates.  

• Pay is based on interview/experience. 

• Disassemble, set up, adjust, and operate production equipment using diagrams, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly operator PMs on all production equipment per schedule.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance duties on production equipment.
• Respond to requests to address and diagnose operational, quality, and/or mechanical problems when equipment is not operating properly.
• Complete paperwork and documentation per the requirements of the management team
• Collaborate with management and other colleagues in decisions concerning operating problems regarding equipment. 

• Factory (dirt/dust, noise, equipment hazard, temperature extremes, chemical exposure, work pace/pressures)
• Constant standing
• Frequent walking
• Occasional bending at the waist and turning/twisting
• Occasional operation of office equipment- keyboard, telephone, etc
• Use of fingers/hands and repetitive motions
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (up to 50 lbs and over)
• Occasional use of hearing
• Visual requirements necessary are far, near, color and field of vision, mid-range, and depth perception
• Mandatory overtime will be on an as-needed basis
